Full Job Description

Heidi's GrowHaus and Lifestyle Gardens is searching for you to join our leadership team as our new Garden Center Operations Manager!

The Garden Center Ops Manager is responsible for planning, directing and executing the overall operations and profitability of the garden center. Leads and motivates garden center team members to ensure delighted customers and healthy plants. Shares in the vision to create edible gardens, pollinator-friendly habitat and embraces sustainable gardening practices.

Leadership

Inspires and leads garden center supervisors and supports the entire GrowHaus team
Participates in leadership decision making processes and helps define future strategy for the garden center
Leads by example, invests in training and supporting the team
Utilizes and analyzes data to support decision making

Garden Center Operations

Responsible for planning and forecasting product assortment and offerings - selection, vendor relations, ordering, pricing
Supports Head Grower & Assistant Grower - ensures diverse plant offerings and happy, healthy plants
Oversees and manages the weekly schedule for all garden center team members
Drives and supports all garden center operations

Customer Service

Supports the Retail Supervisor in maintaining budget & design of the store
Customer Experience – Sets the tone, leads by example and holds staff accountable for delivering great customer service
Brand ambassador for GrowHaus and is committed to “wowing” all customers
Ensures internal processes and systems enhances the customer experience
Creates exciting and interactive displays and experiences for our customers

Qualifications

Familiarity with gardening, and horticulture
Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
Ability to meet sales goals & department budgets
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
Organizational skills and experience in merchandising
Ability to manage inventory and stock effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
