Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality food, maintain exceptional food safety standards, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our restaurant by managing daily kitchen activities, supervising staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated culinary professional to showcase their management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and culinary techniques to uphold high standards.
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional customer experiences.
Implement staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to maintain an efficient team environment.
Conduct regular food safety inspections and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen activities.
Collaborate with the Culinary Director to develop and update menus based on customer preferences, seasonal availability, and cost considerations.

Essentials:

Previous experience as a kitchen manager, sous chef, or in a similar supervisory role within a restaurant or the hospitality industry.
In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and food safety regulations.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse kitchen team and collaborate with other departments.
Proven management skills with experience supervising hospitality teams and managing restaurant operations.
Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training & development, and team leadership.
Ability to handle inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operational needs.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
