Full Job Description

Bois D’arc International is searching for a candidate to fill the role of Mechanical Design Engineer Level II. This is a fast-paced yet rewarding position for candidates with a strong desire to succeed. This position interacts closely with Outside Sales and Manufacturing, beginning with design and throughout the fabrication process.

Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, pay close attention to detail, and be able to juggle multiple projects. Prior mechanical engineering experience as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities and Duties

Proficient AutoCAD or SolidWorks abilities.
The ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
Create approval drawings and production detail part drawings
Design For Cost and Quality
Provide heat transfer performance and pressure calculations
Other engineering duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

2+ years of professional mechanical drafting experience.
Engineering degree is required
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
Good communication skills.
Must be quality minded and self-motivated.
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects.
Detail oriented.
