About the Role:

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician to support our team on a part-time basis. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling, perfect for students, recent grads, or professionals looking to maintain work-life balance.

This role offers valuable experience across a variety of civil engineering land development projects and provides the tools and support needed to thrive in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing engineering reports, plans, and permit documents
Perform drafting and plan revisions using AutoCAD
Conduct research (e.g., permitting, utilities, zoning, code requirements)
Support data entry, calculations, and quality checks
Help maintain digital project files and documentation
Collaborate with project engineers and support team workflows

Qualifications:

Required:

Must currently live in Washington State
Enrolled in or graduated from a Civil Engineering or related program
Proficient with AutoCAD software
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Reliable internet setup

Preferred:

Previous internship or work experience in civil or environmental engineering
Understanding of WA State/local development or permitting processes
