Full Job Description

SUMMARY

TIDH, a workers’ compensation law firm, seeks a highly professional and motivated individual to join our team. This is a front desk position that interfaces with partners, attorneys, staff, clients, vendors and others. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Manage multi-line phone system; answer, screen and route calls accurately and efficiently
Maintain firm calendar; manage incoming mail/e-mail and enter hearings and depositions with complete accuracy
Maintain front desk operations; open and lock front doors in morning/end of day, keep clean/organized workspace, and greet visitors
Process incoming and outgoing mail; sort, stamp, distribute, and scan as appropriate
Receive, log and distribute incoming faxes and packages
Other administrative duties to include helping legal assistants

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Exceptional phone skills with the ability to answer multi-line phone system, screen and route calls with accuracy and congenial phone etiquette
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional appearance, cordial demeanor, and customer service oriented
Reliability and punctuality are critical
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook and Excel
Organized with ability to multi-task under pressure with consistent attention to detail
Proficiency with basic office/clerical skills, fax, copier, printers

REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years of experience operating multi-line phone system
2-3 years of experience managing multiple calendars
Law firm experience a plus
Reliable transportation
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour lunch break
