Clinical skill is the baseline. Leading the practice is the job.

Most Associate Dentist postings list a series of procedures and assume the right candidate is a technician. This one is different. While we expect clinical excellence, we are hiring a Champion of Healthy Smiles—someone who understands that the person in the chair is a child first, a patient second, and a set of teeth third.

We are not looking for someone to "punch a clock." We are looking for a partner in excellence who takes ownership of the whole practice’s success, not just their own production.

The Practice and the Mission

ToothFillers superKIDS Dentistry serves a predominantly Denti-Cal pediatric population in San Jose. Dr. Tracy Filler built this practice on a straightforward belief: that kids from underserved communities deserve the exact same standard of care as anyone else. The bar here does not flex based on payer source. We don't play games with "easy" vs "difficult" insurance. We treat the human being. Dr. Filler is building a legacy in this community, and the Associate who joins us is a key protagonist in that story.

Whole-Person Advocacy: You don’t see a "bratty kid." You see a child whose behavior is a response to fear, environment, or medical history. You treat the child, not just the tooth.
Total Ownership: You care about the success of the whole practice. You don’t cherry-pick the "easy/profitable" cases and leave the difficult ones for the owner. You own your schedule and your outcomes from start to finish.
Active Leadership: You lead your clinical pod with clarity. You build your team up instead of creating cliques. You hold staff accountable to high standards because you care about their growth, not just "being friends" with everyone. There is no room for "I don't want to work with XYZ" here—we are one team.
Integrity Over Profit: You are the moral compass of your chair. You prioritize the patient over the paycheck. You do what is right for the patient’s long-term health over short-term gain, and you own up to your mistakes immediately and honestly.
Clear Communication: You make commitments and keep them. Whether it’s to the parents, the staff, or the practice owner, your word is your bond.

What Will Give You a Genuine Advantage

Partnership Mindset: You are looking for a professional home and are interested in long-term partnership or equity.
Experience: 3+ years of pediatric clinical experience.
High-Integrity Production: You are a strong producer who consistently hits bonuses not by "over-treating," but by maintaining a balanced procedure mix (easy and difficult) and working efficiently.
Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese): A massive asset for our San Jose community.

Schedule: Full-Time

Credentials: Pediatric Dentist (DDS/DMD + Peds Residency)

Compensation: $1200 daily guarantee plus a % of collections based on experience and results. We want you to thrive as the practice thrives.
