Full Job Description

Professional Senior and Staff Accountants – CPA firm

Are you a self-motivated team player interested in accounting and tax, with excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment? At Fong, Ko, and Associates LLP, a full-service CPA firm based in San Francisco/Mid-Peninsula, we provide domestic and international tax consulting and preparation services to individuals and business entities. We also provide financial statement audit, review and compilation services and business advisory services to domestic and international companies.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are seeking a senior or entry-level accountant position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a senior or entry-level accountant (dependent on experience), you’ll gain exposure to the operations and financial processes of domestic and international companies, and a variety of tax matters affecting domestic and foreign taxpayers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Preparing federal, state, and local tax returns using Lacerte and other software.
* Researching current tax and GAAP issues.

* Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and authorities.

* Performing audit, review or compilation of financial statements for business clients.

* Preparing supporting documentation by gathering, organizing and analyzing financial data and documents.

* Establishing priorities and communicating with clients and tax authorities.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

Senior Accountants:

● You have 3+ years of relevant accounting and tax experience (required)

Staff Accountants:

● Accounting and tax experience (preferred)

All Candidates:

● Bachelor degree in accounting or taxation required.

● Successful completion of CPA exam or in progress

● Excellent oral and written communication skills.

● Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Lacerte preferred.

● Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS & GAAS

● Organized, mature, flexible, with strong work ethic.

● Strong interpersonal skills
