Junior Estimator/Project Manager Job Description

ADCO is looking for a hands-on Junior Estimator/Inspector to join our team. You’ll split your time between the field and the office, supporting a steady mix of commercial roofing and waterproofing projects. It’s a great opportunity to grow your career with a company that takes pride in quality work.

What You'll DO

Perform roof inspections, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
Read blueprints and flashing details; document deficiencies with photos and sketches.
Report on roof and flashing system conditions and recommend maintenance or repair.
Assist with estimates and proposals.
Maintain daily work logs and support the placement of permanent roof fixtures.
Perform routine roof maintenance and related tasks.

- Waht We're Looking For:

Required

2+ years of roofing or construction experience.
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, common defects, and the California Building Code.
Ability to accurately document and report field findings.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Comfortable with outdoor work and a full-time weekday schedule.

Preferred

Takeoff software experience (PlanSwift, Edge, or similar).
Confidence reading blueprints and flashing details.

Be punctual.

- Any other duties given by Department Management.

The goal of this position is to work alongside of an experienced Chief Estimator and to learn from them.

Must be willing to perform strenuous work when needed.

Must submit to a background check and pass pre-employment screening process inclusive of drug testing.
