Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you'll serve delicious food and beverages, create memorable guest interactions, and ensure every visitor feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and culinary knowledge will help foster a vibrant atmosphere where guests return time and again. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper beverage presentation standards, including cocktail service and wine knowledge
Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments, while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items like spirits, cocktails, wine, or specialty dishes to increase sales
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests effectively
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous experience with beverage service including spirits expertise and cocktail preparation is highly desirable
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
