Full Job Description

Job Summary

Wicker Construction, Inc., a leader in underground utility construction, is hiring experienced Pipe Layers to install and maintain water, sewer, and storm drain systems. This is a full-time, hands-on position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

· Install and align water, sewer, and storm drain pipes per project specifications.

· Grade and prepare trenches using lasers and levels.

· Connect and seal pipe joints using appropriate tools and materials.

· Read and interpret blueprints and utility plans.

· Work closely with equipment operators and site supervisors.

· Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in underground utility or pipe laying preferred.

· Ability to read construction drawings and use layout tools.

· Knowledge of trench safety and shoring practices.

· Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.

· Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.

· OSHA 10 preferred
