Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a critical role as an Inpatient Pharmacist supporting a 500-bed hospital facility in Northwestern Texas. This position focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care within an inpatient setting, utilizing the EPIC system to enhance medication management and patient outcomes. The schedule is a night shift rotation—7 days on followed by 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday)—ideal for professionals who thrive in a structured work rhythm.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage comprehensive inpatient pharmaceutical duties, ensuring safe and effective medication use
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient pharmacotherapy
Utilize EPIC software for accurate prescription processing and patient records management

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacist experience is highly preferred
Proficiency with EPIC medication management or comparable health information systems is strongly desired
Ability to adapt to fast-paced hospital environment and deliver quality care under shift schedule

Location & Employment Type:

Position based in Northwestern Texas, with options for travel contract assignment
Opportunity open to permanent placement for candidates willing to relocate
