Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative & Medicare Support Assistant to join our growing team. This role will provide crucial support to the Agency Director and our team, encompassing administrative tasks, basic accounting functions, and client support related to Medicare insurance. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
Manage and organize office files and documents.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
Assist with preparing presentations and reports using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Order and maintain office supplies.
Assist in general office management.
Medicare Support:
Assist agents with client documentation and policy processing.
Provide administrative support for client enrollment and policy maintenance.
Learn and understand Medicare products and regulations.
Assist clients with basic inquiries and direct them to appropriate agents.
Accounting Support:
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
Maintain accurate records of expenses and payments.
Assist with reconciling bank statements.
Licensing and Compliance:
Successfully obtain a Texas Insurance Agent License within 90 days of employment.
Maintain compliance with all applicable insurance regulations.
Maintain a clean background check.
Communication:
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, agents, Agency Director and the CEO.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Work collaboratively with team members.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an administrative support role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Basic accounting skills and knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented and accurate.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
Must pass a background check.
Must be able to obtain a Texas Insurance Agent License within 90 days of hire.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
