Full Job Description

The Role: Meadow Brook School is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to serve as our School-Year Secretary in our vibrant early childhood setting. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A friendly, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills are essential in helping create a school environment that is welcoming and responsive to families, students, and staff.Responsibilities Include:Utilize SmartFind Express to manage and assign daily substitutes for staff absences and meetings, including some responsibilities outside regular school hours; this duty includes an additional stipend.

Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive student and school information
Manage interoffice and postal mail; answer and route phone calls professionally
Monitor the schools video surveillance system
Operate the schools intercom system and make announcements as needed
Create the daily parent pick-up list
Order and track school supplies using Munis; manage inventory and distribution
Submit school payroll grids, timesheets, and applicable payroll forms
Work closely with the Principal to manage student activity funds and petty cash
Secure substitute personnel
Assist with employee reimbursement forms and other clerical needs as directed

Qualifications:

Experience with PowerSchool, Munis, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
Strong initiative, reliability, and attention to detail
