Office Administrator – Part-Time

A-1 Lawn & Landscape

Location: Lufkin, Tx | Job Type: Part-Time | Pay: Negotiable, based on experience

A-1 Lawn & Landscape is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team! If you love keeping things running smoothly, enjoy talking with customers, and want to be part of a hardworking local business, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours: Part-time — approximately 20–25 hours per week, with days and hours arranged directly with the Owner.

What You'll Do

Answer phones and respond to customer emails and inquiries
Schedule and coordinate lawn care and landscaping jobs for our field crews using Crew Control
Create and manage work orders, job files, and crew assignments
Handle customer invoicing and vendor accounts using QuickBooks Online
Create and manage purchase orders for materials and equipment
Maintain accurate customer records and job history
Support marketing efforts like mailers, customer database upkeep, and online reviews
Assist the Owner with day-to-day administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking with customers and crews
Dependable, self-motivated, and a great team player
Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or scheduling software (Crew Control experience a plus, but not required)
Comfortable adapting in a fast-paced, seasonal small business
Clean background required
