Overview
We are seeking a Listings Optimization & Technical E-Commerce Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines e-commerce, product research, technical troubleshooting, inventory management, shipping, and warehouse support.
The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, technically curious, and comfortable working both behind a computer and physically within the warehouse. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our online product listings on ebay, while also researching, identifying, testing, and understanding a wide variety of electronics and technology products.
Because we handle a large variety of used, refurbished, surplus, and unusual electronics, this position requires someone who enjoys figuring things out. You may encounter a device, component, hard drive, server, networking product, medical device, or other piece of technology that you have never seen before. You should be comfortable researching the item, identifying exactly what it is, understanding its technical specifications and potential value, and determining how it should be listed or processed.
This is not a purely desk-based position. The successful candidate will also work closely with the warehouse and operations team, including moving products, sorting electronics, going through pallets, organizing inventory, locating items, and physically assisting with day-to-day operations.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, hands-on, and technically minded.
We are looking for someone who doesn't simply look at an unfamiliar piece of equipment and move on. Instead, they ask:
“What is this?”
“What does it do?”
“How does it work?”
“Who uses it?”
“What is it worth?”
“Can we sell it?”
“And how can I verify all of this?”
You should enjoy researching strange, unusual, discontinued, or highly specialized products and have the patience to dig through technical documentation, manufacturer websites, databases, photographs, model numbers, and other resources until you can figure out what you are looking at.
At the same time, this position requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and work with the team physically. You will not be expected to sit at a desk all day. You may spend part of the day researching and listing a product online and the next hour going through a pallet, moving equipment, sorting inventory, locating a missing item, testing a computer, or helping the warehouse team organize incoming electronics.
The right person will have a combination of technical knowledge, strong research skills, attention to detail, e-commerce experience, physical willingness to help, and a natural curiosity about technology.
If you enjoy computers, electronics, solving problems, researching things you have never seen before, and figuring out how to turn unfamiliar products into accurately identified and marketable inventory, this position may be a great fit for you.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
