After training, what does a New Patient Coordinator do? Our New Patient Coordinators use their excellent communication and administrative skills to make fabulous experiences for new patients and parents. The New Patient Coordinator conducts the initial phone call to “fact find” and relationship-build to schedule a patient’s first appointment with our practice, stands and greets new patient upon arrival, tracks appointment correspondence, checks voicemail messages, and cross-trains as “back up” for our Communications Coordinators. Throughout the day, in perfect timing with your co-workers, you’ll toggle between various phone- and admin-tasks like answering orthodontic-related questions (be ready to become a smile expert!), This position is well-suited to someone who sees themselves as a Master Relationship Builder with keen attention to detail. As you can likely imagine, the day goes by quickly!

How do new admin members of Quest Orthodontics learn industry specifics? Easy answer! They are taught by the amazing team that makes up our workgroup! New team members are introduced to new material, layer by layer. You’ll catch on so fast… it’s bound to make you smile!

What are the qualifications to apply?

Desire to work a permanent, 4-day workweek position: Friday is OFF for a long weekend, EVERY weekend!
Stable work history that utilized excellent customer service communication skills on the phone and face-to-face. We often communicate with parents who have little time and who can be stressed as they are stretched between their children’s activities. We are seeking someone who can be empathetic and kind, while also being the leader in the parent-staff relationship to guide the parent into office policies that make everyone’s day easier.
BA/BS or credits earned with studies in Communications, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, other related “people-centered” field.
Initiative to study and quickly learn terminology, processes, and software that is industry specific. Prior experience in the healthcare field is valuable but not required. We mostly value hiring ; we can train the technical aspects of this position.
