Compensation:
$20+ hourly
Responsibilities:-
Oversee the maintenance and operation of the hotel's physical structures and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient functioning.

Ensure that routine maintenance is completed in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and grounds.

Verify the timely completion of all repairs, replacements, and renovation projects within the hotel.

Adhere to corporate purchasing policies and controls, including managing contractor bids, budgets, and schedules.

Enforce safety procedures for personnel and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.

Lead the hiring, training, supervision, and discipline of department staff and other team members.

Implement Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and provide training on equipment and energy usage.

Keep the General Manager and department heads informed about the condition of the building structures and equipment, offering cost-effective maintenance proposals.

Strategically plan and lead the engineering department to deliver high-quality service for enhanced guest satisfaction.

Must be fluent in English, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and possess various physical abilities for the role.

Maintain open availability to fulfill job requirements effectively.

Education and Experience

Minimum of 6 years related experience and/or trade school training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
