Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the daily, monthly and yearly maintenance of general ledger accounting records to assure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of accounting information.
Process accounts payable transactions.
Conduct detailed account reconciliation procedures across general ledger accounts, bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to maintain precise financial records.
Manage journal entries process using accounting software.
Perform month-end and year-end closing.
Support internal audits and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records.
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
Cross-train on all accounting processes and other accounting functions as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting standards.
Skilled in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
Strong analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience.
Understanding of work flows in a manufacturing environment.
High proficiency with Microsoft applications, including an advanced understanding of complex Excel formulas.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
