Full Job Description

Overview:

Located in the heart of downtown Madison, Capitol Lakes is a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community offering residents an engaging lifestyle with exceptional amenities and a full continuum of care. We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors while supporting daily front desk and administrative operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Greet residents, guests, and visitors while creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
Answer and coordinate incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Provide information and assistance to residents, staff, and visitors in person and over the phone.
Support administrative tasks including mail distribution, basic clerical duties, and maintaining front desk organization.
Assist with scheduling needs such as transportation and appointments while communicating with internal teams.
Help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring visitor access and following procedures.

Schedule: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am CST

Pay: $14.00 - $22.40 / hr DOE

About You

Previous experience in reception, customer service, or clerical work preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
Friendly, reliable, and comfortable interacting with residents and team members.
