This position plays an important role in preparing products, materials, and freight for shipment while maintaining quality standards, accurate documentation, organized work areas, and efficient warehouse operations.
Position Overview
The Production Packaging Associate supports daily packaging, production, warehouse, and shipping activities. The position is responsible for preparing products and materials for shipment, assembling and labeling packages, inspecting finished items, organizing inventory, and assisting with general warehouse operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPackaging & Production Support
- Package products, materials, and freight according to company procedures and customer requirements.
- Prepare boxes, cartons, pallets, containers, protective materials, and other packaging supplies.
- Assemble, seal, label, and prepare packages for shipment.
- Verify product quantities, labels, order information, and packaging requirements before shipment.
- Inspect products and finished packages for visible damage, defects, or inconsistencies.
- Apply appropriate labels, markings, shipping information, and documentation.
- Prepare completed orders for staging, loading, and transportation.
- Ensure products are properly protected and secured during handling and shipment.
- Maintain an efficient workflow while meeting daily production and shipping deadlines.
Warehouse Operations
- Assist with receiving, sorting, organizing, and storing products and materials.
- Stage completed orders and shipments in designated warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory organization and material movement.
- Maintain accurate counts of packaging supplies and warehouse materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments when required.
- Move products and materials between production, packaging, storage, and shipping areas.
- Maintain organized workstations, storage areas, and production spaces.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, and material reconciliation.
Quality & Safety
- Follow established packaging procedures, work instructions, and production schedules.
- Perform quality checks throughout the packaging process.
- Identify and report damaged products, incorrect quantities, labeling errors, or packaging issues.
- Follow company safety policies and established warehouse procedures.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow proper lifting, material-handling, and equipment operating procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or operational concerns to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with warehouse, shipping, receiving, production, and logistics teams.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding orders, materials, and daily priorities.
- Help ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Assist team members during periods of increased workload or shipment volume.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
- Contribute to a professional, respectful, and team-oriented workplace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in packaging, warehouse operations, manufacturing, production, shipping and receiving, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to organize tasks and meet daily deadlines.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.

- Forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on warehouse and packaging position.
Candidates should be able to:
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as required.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive packaging and material-handling tasks.
- Safely move products and materials throughout the facility.
- Work around warehouse equipment, pallets, carts, and shipping areas.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy during repetitive tasks.

Work Environment
