Outside Sales Representative – Cabinets, Countertops & Closets

Territory: Madison, Milwaukee, and Surrounding Wisconsin Areas

About Us

AMF Granite and AMF Cabinets are family-owned companies with more than 18 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry. We design, fabricate, and install custom countertops, cabinets, and closets for residential and commercial projects.

We are continuing to grow throughout Wisconsin and are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to develop business in the Madison, Milwaukee, and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone who understands the kitchen and bath industry and knows how to sell quality, service, and value—not just the lowest price.

The Ideal Candidate

Has hands-on experience or strong product knowledge in cabinets, countertops, closets, or related materials.
Comes from a construction, remodeling, kitchen and bath, or interior design background.
Is confident meeting with builders, contractors, developers, designers, and homeowners.
Can read plans, review measurements, and discuss kitchen and bathroom layouts intelligently.
Is self-driven, organized, professional, and ready to close deals.
Has existing relationships in the Madison or Milwaukee construction and remodeling market.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, developers, remodelers, designers, and property managers.
Generate new leads and manage an active pipeline of projects.
Develop new business throughout Madison, Milwaukee, and surrounding Wisconsin communities.
Visit contractor offices, showrooms, jobsites, and customer locations.
Meet with clients and discuss countertop, cabinet, and closet options.
Review plans, measurements, layouts, and project requirements.
Prepare proposals and present solutions to potential customers.
Follow up consistently and aggressively to close business.
Meet monthly sales and business-development targets.
Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activities in the company CRM.
Coordinate with our estimating, design, production, scheduling, and installation teams.
Represent AMF Granite and AMF Cabinets professionally throughout the assigned territory.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of outside sales experience preferred.
Experience in construction, remodeling, kitchen and bath, cabinetry, countertops, building materials, or a related industry strongly preferred.
Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, closets, or related products is required.
Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read plans, understand measurements, and discuss project layouts.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
Ability to travel throughout Madison, Milwaukee, and surrounding Wisconsin areas.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using email, CRM systems, and digital tools.
Ability to work independently while communicating closely with management and internal teams.
Experience with Moraware software is preferred.
Experience with Mozaik or 2020 Design software is a plus.
