Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Crew Manager to lead and inspire our frontline teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery. As a vital member of our management team, you will oversee crew scheduling, performance management, employee development, and compliance with company policies and labor laws. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment, promote safety standards, and drive operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape team dynamics, implement process improvements, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and motivate crew members to achieve operational goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Manage talent acquisition efforts by participating in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
Oversee employee performance evaluations, training & development initiatives, and succession planning to support career growth.
Ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA, Workers' Compensation regulations, HR legal standards, and EEO policies.
Handle employee relations issues including conflict management, misconduct investigations, and disciplinary actions with transparency and fairness.
Coordinate payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR systems updates using tools like HRIS or equivalent platforms such as Dayforce or UltiPro.
Implement program management strategies to improve operational efficiency through process improvement initiatives and data analysis.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, organizational design, and change management efforts to optimize human capital management.

Requirements

Proven experience in supervising teams within a fast-paced environment with a focus on employee relations management.
Strong skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing employment & labor law compliance.
Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition, employee evaluation, training & development, and HR sourcing strategies.
Familiarity with HR systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft or Kronos for payroll and HR data management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and foster teamwork across diverse groups.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance management including FMLA, Workers' Compensation, Employee misconduct investigations, and HR legal compliance.
Strategic thinker with experience in process improvement initiatives using data collection and analysis skills for decision-making.
Management experience with a focus on human resources management practices such as succession planning and performance management.
