Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote mental wellness. Whether working in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, or through telehealth platforms, you will utilize evidence-based practices to support clients facing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, developmental disabilities, addiction, and grief. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a collaborative environment dedicated to compassionating care and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately identify client needs.
Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during urgent situations.
Provide specialized counseling for populations including children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, and individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Maintain detailed clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines while ensuring medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, coordinate patient care, and participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment outcomes.
Utilize telehealth experience to deliver effective remote therapy sessions while managing medical terminology and CPT coding for billing purposes.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations including children, Adolecents and adults.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral management techniques, and addiction counseling.
Experience working with children & family counseling, crisis intervention, grief counseling, PTSD care, Addiction and gender issues counseling preferred.
Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical documentation standards, and clinical research methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in outpatient or inpatient settings; telehealth experience is highly valued.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care; proficiency in medical terminology is a plus.
Bilingual preferred but not required.
