Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

At Tallgrass Healthcare Campus, we want you on our rehab team.

We are seeking a caring, motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about helping people regain independence and improve quality of life. In this role, you’ll work across skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient therapy, making a direct and meaningful impact on residents every day.

What You’ll Do as a COTA

In this role, you’ll help support and deliver highquality occupational therapy services while working closely with our licensed Occupational Therapists and rehab leadership.

Provide OT treatment interventions in accordance with individualized plans of care developed by the Occupational Therapist
Treat residents in skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient settings
Communicate resident progress, concerns, and recommendations to the Occupational Therapist
Apply therapeutic techniques appropriate to each resident’s functional needs
Participate in care plan meetings when requested by the Director of Rehabilitation
Document treatment notes, progress notes, and provide objective input for discharge summaries
Complete daily billing and documentation per facility policy and regulatory standards
Adhere to state practice acts, professional ethics, and company policies
Support a teambased approach focused on safe, effective, residentcentered care

Active state COTA license or certification (required)
Strong clinical skills and understanding of therapeutic interventions
Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Compassionate, dependable, and residentfocused approach
Excellent communication and timemanagement skills
Desire to be part of a stable, inhouse rehab team
