Full Job Description

Momosan Ramen & Sake, created by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, is seeking an experienced Senior Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team in New York City. We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead daily front-of-house and overall restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest service.
Hire, train, coach, and develop managers and hourly team members.
Drive a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.
Manage labor costs, scheduling, and staffing levels to meet business needs.
Monitor financial performance, including sales, food and beverage costs, labor, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary team to maintain food quality and operational excellence.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
Execute company initiatives, promotions, and special events.

Qualifications

5+ years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management role.
High-volume, full-service restaurant experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Proven ability to manage financials, labor, and operational performance.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Japanese cuisine or upscale casual dining is a plus.
