Production Assistant – Chinese Speaking

We are currently seeking a highly organized Production Assistant who speaks fluent Chinese to support all aspects of product sourcing and development. The ideal candidate should be energetic, committed, and hungry to tackle multiple tasks at once within a fast-paced professional environment. The primary aim of the person in this position must be to ensure production takes place smoothly and problem-free.

If you are a restless and tenacious individual who can multitask, solve problems and take charge of tasks proactively, you’ll quickly become invaluable in this role!

Job Responsibilities:

· Help prepare costing sheets from overseas factories.

· Respond on a daily basis to emails from factories with respect to costing and development.

· Review all emails and costings with the department head to ensure quick daily actions.

· Follow up on samples and material correspondence being sent to and from factories.

· Follow up on production tasks including managing Time & Action calendars and WHIP reports

· Keep an organized and up-to-date data sheet of all products currently being worked on.

· Assist in office work related to samples and products.

· Undertake errands as assigned.

Ideal Qualifications and Skills:

· Associate’s degree required (further education preferred).

· Fluency in Chinese.

· 2– 3 years’ experience as a Production Assistant in a similar industry (wholesale goods).

· Experienced in Microsoft Excel

· Knowledge of common terminology preferred.

· Computer/tech-savvy.

· Exceptional organizational skills.

· Detail oriented.

· Excellent multitasker.

· Resourceful and creative problem-solver.

· Team player with excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000 Annually.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
