Job Overview
Northridge is an exciting new fine-dining restaurant, just recently opened at Woolverton Inn. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. This position requires a passion for hospitality, exceptional teamwork and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced professional restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all guest needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests or concerns.
Process payments accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit transactions.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Uphold high standards of customer service, contributing to a positive dining atmosphere.
Follow the standard "Steps of Service" for Fine Dining establishments.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale establishments.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for hospitality with a willingness to help guests have an enjoyable experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

A note about the compensation: Servers will be paid at least $17/hour as base pay and then be eligible for tips/gratuities. We operate in a "tip share" mode to encourage strong teamwork which improves the customer's overall experience at Northridge. Our facility is BYO and we sell wine from a local vineyard.
