Overview

Join our dynamic finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk, where your expertise will drive the smooth processing of our company’s outgoing payments and financial transactions. In this vital role, you will handle invoice processing, account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Your attention to detail and proficiency will support our commitment to accurate financial reporting and efficient vendor management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment that values precision, integrity, and teamwork.

.Key Responsibilities:

Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.
Verify invoices against purchase orders, receipts, and other supporting documentation.
Enter invoices and payment information accurately into the accounting system.
Prepare and process vendor payments according to established schedules.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
Communicate with internal departments to obtain approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation as requested by management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal accounting procedures.
Protect confidential financial and vendor information.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework or an associate degree is preferred.
Previous accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Work Environment:

This position is office-based and requires regular computer use, attention to detail, and communication with vendors and internal team members.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
