Position: Accounts Receivable / Collections Clerk

About True View Windows and Glass

True View recently expanded into Colorado, New Mexico and Tucson, Arizona, and is seeking to accelerate its growth in both existing and new markets. About the Position

True View is seeking a full-time accounts receivable / collections clerk to join our accounting team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will be experienced in collections, reconciliation and basic accounting. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, ambitious, dependable, and excited by the opportunity to help grow our accounting department at True View. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are a must.

Responsibilities Include:

· Cash application: Process incoming payments, ACH transfers, checks and credit card transactions promptly.

· Account Reconciliation: Reconcile AR reports for Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico locations. Resolve customer payment discrepancies or billing disputes.

· Collections: Manage aging reports and contact customers professionally regarding overdue accounts using both e-mail and outbound phone calls. Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving disputes.

· Process demand letters and submit stale AR to collections firm.

· Update correspondence notes for each customer within internal CRM software.

· Scan completed project paperwork and attach to customer filed within internal CRM software.

· Proficient in excel.

· Month-End Support: Assist with month end closing activities including, but not limited to: progress billing, AIA, customer credits, report auditing, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

· 2+ years of recent experience in accounts receivable, billing and collections.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.

· Computer literate. Experience using One Drive, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and working knowledge of ERP/accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct). Experience with Salesforce software a plus.

· TEAM player.

· Candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
