Full Job Description

Big Time Recovery is a nationwide repossession forwarding company seeking an experienced Skip Tracer to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated, dependable professional who excels at investigating difficult cases, solving problems, and working independently.

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced skip tracing using multiple investigative databases and resources.
Locate vehicles and individuals through research, public records, social media, and proprietary databases.
Maintain accurate and detailed account notes.
Communicate effectively with recovery agents and internal staff.
Meet productivity and performance goals while maintaining quality.
Ensure compliance with FDCPA, GLBA, and company policies.

Qualifications:

Previous skip tracing experience is required.
Strong problem-solving and investigative skills with the ability to think critically and develop effective recovery strategies.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing a high-volume workload.
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple software platforms and databases.
Experience in the repossession, automotive finance, or collections industry preferred.
Familiarity with investigative databases is desired.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain honesty, professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
