As the leader of the Back of House, this role oversees all kitchen operations—ensuring food quality, consistency, speed of service, and team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The Kitchen Manager sets the tone for the entire kitchen. Through strong leadership, coaching, and accountability, they create an environment where cooks can perform at a high level, systems are followed with precision, and every plate meets Rreal Tacos standards. Strong leadership at this level ensures that the kitchen operates efficiently, teams stay aligned, and guests receive a consistent, high-quality experience.

As Rreal Tacos continues to grow, our Kitchen Managers play a critical role in developing strong kitchen teams, maintaining consistency across locations, and supporting the development of future BOH leaders. At Rreal Tacos, every role matters, and Kitchen Managers help bring that standard of excellence to life every day.

What you’ll do

Lead all aspects of Back of House operations, ensuring consistent execution of food quality, speed, and presentation standards.
Drive kitchen performance by managing prep, line execution, and overall BOH workflow during service.
Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members while building a strong culture of accountability and discipline.
Oversee food safety, sanitation, and health compliance standards at all times.
Manage inventory, ordering, waste control, and food cost performance.
Ensure stations are properly set, stocked, and ready for high-volume service.
Partner with FOH leadership to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
Monitor kitchen performance in real time and adjust staffing or execution as needed.
Support scheduling and labor management to meet business needs.
Lead by example, setting the standard for speed, consistency, and kitchen discipline.

What we are looking for

3–5 years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food cost control, and inventory management.
Proven ability to lead, train, and develop BOH teams.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to remain calm, decisive, and effective in high-pressure service environments.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
High level of accountability, discipline, and ownership.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Desire to grow with a fast-growing company and help shape its future success.
