Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AR & Denial Management Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will focus on identifying and resolving denied claims while collaborating with management to reduce denial rates and ensure timely reimbursements. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing revenue cycle management and improving cash flow efficiency for our hospital partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze insurance claim denials and rejects.
Implement denial prevention strategies and appeal processes to minimize future denials.
Monitor and track denial trends, providing detailed reports to management.
Collaborate with billing, coding, and insurance teams across multiple clients to identify root causes of denials and recommend corrective actions.
Manage the appeals process, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of denied claims.
Stay current on payer policies, healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines), and coding updates.
Achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in denial management, insurance follow-up, or healthcare revenue cycle management.
Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance claim processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Familiarity with payer policies and healthcare regulations.
