Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer

Location: Hercules, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, must be local)

Duration: 3-Month Contract (Strong potential for extension)

Pay Rate: $40/hr

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Together they are helping people everywhere live longer, healthier lives.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support day-to-day design execution across a variety of marketing channels, including digital, print, and event materials. This role is highly execution-focused, working within established templates and design systems, while collaborating closely with art directors, team leads, and cross-functional partners.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking direction, with the ability to produce high-quality work efficiently while maintaining brand consistency and visual standards. This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute high-volume design work across digital and print channels using established templates and brand systems
Create and adapt layouts for web banners, social media posts, email modules, presentations (PPT), and event materials
Prepare and finalize artwork for print and digital production, ensuring proper specifications and accuracy
Collaborate with art directors and team leads to implement creative direction and feedback
Work cross-functionally with copywriters, product managers, and other designers to align on project goals and deliverables
Participate in daily check-ins, design critiques, and feedback sessions
Maintain and update design systems, templates, and component libraries
Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and project requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, organization, and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related field
2–4 years of Graphic Design experience in a professional setting
Strong experience with day-to-day design execution across digital and print assets
Proven ability to work within templates and established design systems while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual composition
Experience designing for web, social media, email, and presentation materials (PPT)
Ability to take direction from an Art Director and apply feedback effectively
Experience preparing files for print and digital production (specs, formatting, exports, etc.)
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, content, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and brand consistency
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Exposure to design systems and component-based workflows
Experience supporting marketing or product teams
