Social Media & Fitness Manager

Crivitz Youth, Inc. Community Center – Crivitz, WI

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12:30 PM-8:30 PM, every other weekend 5:30 AM-2:00 PM.

Flexible schedule that includes a combination of daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours based on programming needs.

Pay: Starting at $14.50-$17.00/hour (based on experience & education)

Certification reimbursement (up to $150) for approved Group Fitness OR Personal Training certification completed within the first 6 months
Paid training provided for First Aid & CPR
Full-time position

About Us

Crivitz Youth, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health, wellness, and quality of life for our community. Our facilities include a fitness center, indoor pool, gymnasium, walking track, bowling center, Kid Zone, Teen Center, Child Development Center and a wide variety of fitness and recreation programs for all ages.

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and motivated individual who enjoys both marketing and fitness. If you love creating engaging social media content, connecting with people, and inspiring healthy lifestyles, this position is for you!

Position Summary

The Social Media & Fitness Manager is responsible for growing CYI's online presence while helping deliver exceptional health and wellness programming. This position combines digital marketing, photography, videography, event promotion, member engagement, and fitness instruction/personal training into one exciting role.

No two days are the same—you'll spend time creating social media content, planning promotions, teaching fitness classes or personal training, assisting members, and helping the Community Center, and all of CYI, continue to grow.

Essential ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Marketing

Plan and manage social media content for CYI across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
Photograph and film events, programs, classes, and facility highlights
Create graphics, videos, reels, and promotional materials
Write engaging captions and promotional content
Maintain a consistent posting schedule
Promote memberships, programs, events, camps, and special activities
Update the CYI website and signage as needed
Monitor social media engagement and respond to messages and comments
Help increase community awareness and membership growth

Fitness & Wellness

Teach group fitness classes OR Conduct personal training sessions
Orient new members to fitness equipment
Assist members with proper exercise techniques
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Wellness Center
Develop new fitness programs and challenges
Encourage member participation and retention

Community Engagement

Assist with community events and special programs
Build positive relationships with members and guests
Help coordinate health and wellness initiatives
Represent the CYI in a professional and enthusiastic manner

Administrative Duties

Assist with front desk, wellness center, pool and kid zone coverage as needed
Answer phones and assist guests
Process memberships and program registrations
Maintain accurate records and reports
Collaborate with staff to improve programs and member experiences

Qualifications

Preferred:

Experience managing social media for a business or organization
Strong photography and videography skills
Experience using Canva or similar graphic design software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for health, fitness, and community wellness
Experience leading fitness classes or personal training (preferred but not required)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, outgoing, and self-motivated personality
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 pounds
Stand and walk for extended periods
Demonstrate exercises and fitness movements
Work evenings and every other weekend
Comfortable working in both office and fitness environments
