Full Job Description

Join a collaborative and fast-paced finance team as an Accounts Payable & Accounting Operations Coordinator, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the companys financial processes, focusing on managing accounts payable, processing vendor invoices, and supporting month-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and organization in financial records, contribute to effective communication with internal teams and external partners, and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the companys accounting operations.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Code and enter invoices accurately using QuickBooks
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Assist with month-end accounting processes and financial reporting
Serve as backup support to the Controller as needed
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
Support general accounting and administrative functions within the accounting department
Foster strong communication with internal teams and external financing partners

Qualifications

Previous accounts payable experience required
Experience using QuickBooks required
Understanding of accounting procedures and invoice coding
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
