Job Description: Part-Time Cook

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organized individual to prepare one home-cooked meal each day, Monday through Thursday. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in preparing quality meals while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare home-cooked meals each day (Monday–Thursday).
Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner using fresh, quality ingredients.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen during and after meal preparation.
Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and clean all work surfaces after cooking.
Properly store leftover food and ingredients.
Notify management when kitchen supplies or ingredients need to be replenished.
Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
All facilities and groceries are provided.

Qualifications

Experience preparing home-style meals preferred.
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Smoke free environment

Schedule

Monday through Thursday approximately 3-4 hours per day.
Minimum one meal prepared each day for 2-5 people.
Flexible hours, with meal completed by an agreed-upon serving time.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods while cooking.
Ability to safely use standard kitchen equipment and appliances.
