Full Job Description

A patient-support mentality balanced with the ability to overcome objections to completing treatment. Our Dental Treatment Coordinator must be genuine and have patients' best interest in mind, yet understand and convey the importance of moving forward with treatment.

This is not a front desk administrative position. Direct experience in gaining dental case acceptance through patient education and overcoming objections is required. Please apply only if all the qualifications are met.

Due to growth and re-aligning the team, we are seeking a highly effective, experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team.

What you’ll do as a Treatment Coordinator:

Present treatment plans to patients to help them understand the importance of their oral health
Ensure treatment plans are accurate in the system
Manage a productive schedule and schedule future appointments
Coordinate with labs to ensure case completion prior to patient appointments
Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for every patient by being friendly helpful at all times
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the office runs smoothly and every patient receives outstanding care

What you’ll bring:

Minimum of 1 year experience presenting dental treatment plans to patients along with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend practice management software strongly preferred
Ability to present treatment plans with empathy, confidence and professionalism
Excellent and positive communication skills with both the team and patients
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter that takes initiative when something needs to be completed
Stable work history demonstrated on your resume
