Full Job Description

Position Overview: The Associate Advisor works directly with the Senior Advisor to assist with the wealth management and financial planning needs of clients. The Associate Advisor is an integral part of our team serving as the true connection between our clients, support team, and advisor. The Associate Advisor provides financial planning and investment management work, typically under the management of the Senior Advisor. In addition, the Associate Advisor will serve clients through conducting service/review meetings and handling service requests.

Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate information to solve client issues responsibly.
Conduct service meetings with existing clients.
Conduct prospect meetings with referrals. If licensed, they can qualify prospects.
Provide support for the financial planning needs of clients including:
Conduct research as needed and work with client’s other advisors (attorneys, CPAs, etc.) to obtain all necessary data for financial planning analyses.
Prepare all retirement forecasts, cash flow analyses, education forecasts, insurance analyses, estate flows, etc.
Identify areas of opportunity for clients based on financial planning analyses.
Create drafts of financial plans.
Prepare materials for client meetings; work with other team members to ensure client meetings are prepared for thoroughly and accurately.
Communicate with clients to understand and address goals.
Assist advisor with any issues surrounding client reporting and performance.
Ensure accurate processing of client data in software systems utilizing; Redtail, RightCapital, Holistiplan.
Perform special request analyses for clients (e.g., mortgage analysis, Social Security analysis, etc.).
Assist with new client onboarding.
Maintain accurate notes and records regarding client matters in Redtail.
Keep team members adequately informed on all active and pending client matters.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards in decision-making processes.
Lead weekly team meetings.
Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics or related experience.
Minimum of 3 years of industry-related experience.
Series 7 and 66 licensed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; to include intermediate knowledge of Excel.

This is not a sales position. This is primarily a service position.

Competitive compensation, between $75,000 and $95,000 based on experience, plus bonus potential.

This is an in-office position with some remote work opportunities and only available once fully trained.
