Optique Boutique is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Technician to join our team. We are a well-established, independent optometry practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming boutique environment.

No experience? No problem! We are happy to train the right person. We value a positive attitude, reliability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others more than previous optometric experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit
Obtain patient medical and ocular history
Perform pre-testing and diagnostic testing, including:
Visual acuity
Auto-refraction
Intraocular pressure (IOP)
Supplemental testing as needed
Accurately document information in the electronic medical record
Assist with front desk responsibilities, including patient check-in/check-out and scheduling
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office
Work closely with doctors and fellow team members to provide an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong computer and typing skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Dependable with excellent attendance
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn
Professional business casual appearance appropriate for our boutique practice
