Full Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting early childhood learners as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based assignment beginning mid-March and continuing through the end of the school year. This maternity leave coverage is conveniently set for four days a week, with a possible half-day schedule on Wednesdays, offering a great work-life balance. You'll be working alongside dedicated staff, including an SLPA, to provide vital speech and language services for an early childhood caseload of approximately 32 students.

Key Qualifications:

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs, or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
Open to SLPAs with appropriate licensure or certification
Experience in pediatric or early childhood settings highly valued
Previous school-based experience preferred
Ability to provide supervision to SLPAs (for SLP applicants)
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy for a diverse early childhood population
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
Document and track student outcomes, maintaining compliance with regulations
Potential to provide supervision to SLPAs as needed
Engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive environment
