Full Job Description

Menzner Hardwoods Co. is seeking long-term career employees interested in manufacturing for a 2nd shift Scanner Operator role at our Marathon City location.

Duties may include working with other departments creating rips to fulfill customer orders. Must be able to comply with and maintain all company quality control standards and scheduling time frames, while maintaining yields that sustain profitability requirements of Menzner Hardwoods Co. Individual must continuously look for ideas and solutions for ways to improve the overall yield and value of lumber ripped at Menzner Hardwoods Co.

Qualifications: Strong analytical and computer skills necessary. Candidates must be 18 years old, physically capable of lifting / maneuvering up to 30 lbs. regularly, be capable of standing for 8 hours / shift, work well with coworkers in a team environment, and have solid work tenure in prior employment.

Full-time, second shift hours are 2:30pm-10:30pm Mon-Friday. Shifts include a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours are required during the week or on Saturdays as production needs arise. 2nd shift has a $0.75 shift premium pay.

Affordable voluntary accident plan, critical illness plan, and 401k retirement plan with an employer match also available 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Vacation accrual starts on your first day and is available to use after 30 days of employment, as well as attendance incentive days after six months. Up to 12 weeks paid Maternity Leave and 4 weeks Caregiver Leave available 1st of the month following 12 months of employment for full-time employees. $2,500 referral bonus program.
