Job Summary
The Head Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and managing daily operations within the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
Implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety practices, and customer service skills.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Address guest inquiries and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally as instructed by GM.
Collaborate with other departments and GM to ensure seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and inventory usage.

Skills

Proficient in various cleaning techniques and floor care methods.
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of janitorial practices and industrial cleaning standards.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in housekeeping management.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
