Program Coordinator

Position Summary

The Program Coordinator drives forward momentum across RRC’s peer‑based recovery programs by providing proactive leadership, coordination, and day‑to‑day support to Peer Navigators, BRIDGE Team CPRSs, the Family Education Program, and RAMP trainees. This role requires someone who anticipates needs, solves problems early, and consistently brings solutions rather than barriers. The Coordinator models healthy recovery, professionalism, stability, and positive energy while maintaining strong communication skills and a supportive, action‑oriented leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Program Leadership

Identify challenges early and take initiative to resolve them before they escalate.
Bring forward solutions, recommendations, and action plans — not just problems.
Maintain forward momentum across multiple programs, deadlines, and priorities.
Anticipate needs of peers, trainees, partners, and program operations.

Peer & Team Support

Provide daily guidance, coaching, and accountability for Peer Navigators and BRIDGE Team CPRSs.
Support peers in documentation, boundaries, crisis navigation, and effective participant interactions.
Foster a solution‑focused, collaborative, and professional team culture.
Model stability, healthy recovery, and positive engagement.

RAMP Trainee Coordination

Ensure RAMP trainees complete CPRS, RPS, and iFPRS certification steps within required timelines.
Track progress, documentation, supervision hours, service hours, and testing readiness.
Proactively remove barriers by helping trainees navigate applications, exam scheduling, and community resources.
Build and maintain relationships with community employers to connect trainees to CPRS job opportunities.

Program Operations & Family Education

Coordinate logistics, communication, and materials for the Family Education Program.
Support curriculum delivery, attendance tracking, and participant follow‑up.
Maintain organized digital and physical records across all assigned programs.
Improve processes and systems to increase efficiency and participant success.

Community Engagement & Events

Plan, coordinate, and support community events, outreach activities, and partner collaborations.
Represent RRC at community meetings, trainings, and recovery‑related events.
Strengthen relationships with partner agencies, law enforcement, and community stakeholders.
Identify new opportunities for collaboration and community impact.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate records, reports, and data tracking for all assigned programs.
Ensure documentation meets grant, audit, and confidentiality standards.
Support quarterly reporting and communication with partner organizations.
Proactively address documentation gaps or compliance risks.

Qualifications

Lived experience in recovery with at least two years of stability preferred; must model healthy recovery.
CPRS and RPS credentials preferred; willingness to obtain required.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and move work forward.
Experience supporting peers, trainees, or recovery‑related programs.
Strong communication skills, proactive problem‑solving, and supportive leadership style.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital recordkeeping, and basic data tracking.
Experience working with law enforcement or justice‑involved populations is a plus.
