Job description

The Director of Nursing leads multiple nursing units, including Pre/PACU, Operating Room, Pre Admission Testing, and Sterile Processing departments. This role emphasizes quality improvement, operational management, and collaboration across healthcare leadership, including the Administrator, Materials Management, and Compliance Coordinator. The Director oversees staff recruitment, retention, and training, ensuring top patient care and regulatory compliance while managing budgets and resources effectively. Occasional travel may be required for training or conferences.

Responsibilities

Manage staff across multiple nursing units and coordinate with healthcare leaders
Oversee patient care quality and direct patient care activities
Manage budgets and resource allocation
Coordinate and facilitate staff training and development
Lead/Assist with quality assurance and improvement projects
Evaluate staff performance and implement retention strategies with Administrator
Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance standards are met with Compliance Coordinator
Collaborate with Administrator, Materials Management, and Compliance Coordinator

Required Qualifications

Minimum Associate Degree
Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years in nursing leadership
Nursing Management experience
Healthcare Compliance knowledge
Patient Care Coordination skills
Budget Management expertise
Team Leadership capabilities
Conflict Resolution proficiency
Strategic Planning ability
Familiarity with Regulatory Standards
Strong Communication and Problem-Solving skills

Pay: $91,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
