Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy dental clinic. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure the smooth functioning of clinical and administrative activities. As a Dental Practice Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional patient care, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive, efficient work environment. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to achieve operational excellence while upholding the highest standards of dental practice management.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing processes to ensure profitability and financial health.
Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance in human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality and security of all medical records and patient information.
Coordinate with dental professionals to facilitate smooth clinical workflows while supporting medical office management practices.
Oversee administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling, insurance processing, managed care coordination, and billing procedures.
Monitor clinic inventory levels, procurement processes, and equipment maintenance to support uninterrupted clinical services.
Lead efforts in practice growth by analyzing operational metrics, managing budgets effectively, and exploring opportunities for service expansion.
Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes excellent customer service for patients while promoting a collaborative team culture.

Skills

Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management. Strong understanding of dental clinic operations not required but preferred.
Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management.
Supervisory experience, team building, and team leading.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical privacy regulations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with staff, patients, vendors, and external partners.
Experience in managing human resources functions such as hiring practices, staff development, and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of managed care processes and insurance billing procedures related to dental services.
Ability to utilize various healthcare software platforms including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental or similar systems for daily operations.
