Full Job Description

Job Overview

As a Hibachi Chef with Let’s Hibachi, you will travel to designated event locations to prepare and cook hibachi-style meals while engaging with guests. This position combines cooking with entertainment, creating a fun and memorable dining experience for private parties and special events. Our events take place throughout Charlotte NC and surrounding areas, so travel is required.

No prior hibachi experience is required — we welcome beginners and are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.

Compensation

Base Pay: $30 per hour
Plus tips — you keep 100% of your tips
Opportunities for growth within the team
Hands-on training provided

Age Requirement

Preferred age range: 21–30 years old (Will need to handle alcohol)

Responsibilities

Travel to scheduled event locations to cook on-site
Prepare and cook hibachi-style dishes
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner
Set up and clean hibachi equipment before and after events
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth event service

Requirements

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn (no experience required)
Comfortable speaking and interacting with guests
Reliable transportation (travel is required)
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Team player with good communication skills
