Full Job Description

We provide customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair. www.sun-source.com

This role is focused on selling Fluid Power component repair and service solutions for off-highway and industrial equipment. You will develop new business, grow existing accounts, and build long-term customer relationships throughout your assigned territory.

The territory will cover Southwest Wisconsin and surrounding areas. This is a field-based sales role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving customer problems, and driving sales growth.

Essential Functions:

Develop and execute a territory sales plan to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
Drive full-cycle business development, including lead qualification, cold calling, prospecting, and sales presentations.
Make regular in-person customer and prospect visits to identify needs and uncover new opportunities.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing responsive, value-added solutions.
Partner with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
Use CRM tools and sales resources to effectively manage time, territory, and opportunities.

Experience, Education and Skills:

Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Technical or bachelor's degree is preferred with preference given to fluid power programs or similar discipline such as industrial technology, mechanical or related
Fluid Power Certification is preferred, but not required
2+ years of industrial sales experience (hydraulic service and repair sales strongly preferred)
Experience with hydraulic equipment rebuilding and repair (mobile or industrial) is a plus
Proven ability to build relationships and consistently meet or exceed sales goals
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Computer proficiency and ability to learn and use CRM tools
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory (overnight travel may be required)
This role will routinely make on-site customer visits in industrial settings requiring the ability meet with customers at their locations and drive moderate to long distances.
At times may be required to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs
