Full Job Description

Administrative Support Technician

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Associate’s degree in business-related field preferred; extensive related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

2. Minimum of two years’ work experience is preferred.

3. Excellent computer skills required, as well as experience with Microsoft Office.

4. Excellent clerical skills required.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

6. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and have ability to travel within assigned areas.

7. Ability to organize time, set priorities and multi-task, required.

8. Must be sympathetic to the goals of a Community Action Agency.

9. Must successfully pass all agency-required background checks.

WAGE

$22.00 per hour

WORK LOCATION

Caro

SCHEDULE

Monday - Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Thursdays: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in the preparation of monthly Board and Committee meetings. Serve as a recording secretary and preparing meeting minutes, as needed.

2. Complete agency background checks for potential employees and contractors.

3. Collect agency documents to assist in the completion of agency standards review.

4. Assist with developing and distributing monthly employee evaluations and item lists to administrative team.

5. Assist with maintaining employee files and ensuring new employee documents are in order, and personnel books are up to date.

6. Provide face-to-face and/or telephone assistance to customers for the agency, as requested.
