** MUST live in the Schaumburg area or nearby suburbs **

Exhale Sinus TMJ | Headache | Sleep is located in Schaumburg. We are dedicated to providing care for patients with Sinus, Nasal, TMJ, Headache and Sleep conditions. We employ physicians who specialize in ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat/Otolaryngology) as well as advanced practice providers including a nurse practitioner and physician assistants.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy ENT practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and able to provide excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Medical Receptionist Candidates: MUST have 2 years medical receptionist experience.

Must be able to work 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Greet patients and visitors; manage check-in and check-out, including insurance verification, scheduling, and payment collection.
Review and update patient forms and registration documents; send new patient reminders and assemble packets.
Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; assist patients with insurance and billing questions.
Obtain and track prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and specialty biologics.
Provide basic clinical support such as audio screenings and sleep study education,
Stock exam rooms, turn over instruments, prepare for surgery days, and manage deliveries
Fax office notes to referring physicians and ensure timely documentation, including sleep study tracking
Provide excellent customer service
Answer phone calls as needed
Familiar with ICD/CPT codes
Multi-tasking
Other duties as assigned
