Executive Assistant

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 (Based on years of experience and other qualifications)

Job Description:

Barberton Tree Service Inc. is a family-owned and operated company located in Barberton, Ohio. We are a major local provider for residential, commercial, and municipal tree care. We also serve as our area’s premier response team for tree emergencies.

Our company is offering this to you as a reliable, organized, and fast learning individual to serve as a Full-Time Executive Assistant to the Company President. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including bookkeeping, basic human resources, general administrative tasks, advertising, purchasing, customer service, and event scheduling.

Responsibilities:

Assistant: Preparing and scheduling the President's calendar including notifications and reminders. Assisting the President in any task needed.
Administrative: General office duties such as typing documents, emails, preparing spreadsheets, writing up orders, general filing, and excellent organizational skills.
Advertising / Public Relations: Assist in various advertising and marketing tasks, as well as donations, charity work, and community outreach.
Human Resources: Prepare and review intake paperwork for new hires, and assist in the new hire set up process.
Bookkeeping: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.
Customer Service: Serving as a customer liaison and handling basic customer needs, questions, and disputes. Ensure proper record keeping of customer-related documents and paperwork.
General Tasks: Pick up various supplies and materials, drop off other items needed. Ordering supplies and advertising merchandise online or by phone.

Our ideal candidate will be proficient in Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Applications, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Illustrator.

We are seeking someone who is highly trainable, adaptable, and versatile to any situation. As a company that provides an emergency service, being able to think and act quickly under pressure is a highly valued trait.
